    The Polygon Bend R was designed with a taller head tube for greater comfort and a more upright riding position. This gravel bike features a lightweight ALX frame with specific off road geometry, extra tire clearance and disc brakes. The Bend R was built to accommodate a wider tire that gives the rider the option to ride tarmac, explore the forest, or ride miles of untraveled farming roads. This bike is the ultimate blend of comfort and versatility for further exploration.

    Pairing a full-carbon fibre fork with an ALX Alloy frame, Polygons crafted these unique materials with the roughest gravel in mind. The lightweight carbon fibre fork dampens vibrations up front while the durable ALX Alloy frame is engineered to deliver a stable ride that is tough enough to withstand anything your tyres fling its way.


    The Bend R was designed with a tall stack height for greater rider comfort from a more upright body position while short chain stays provide agility to help dodge potholes, swing through smooth single track or navigating the urban jungle on your commute. The frame and fork feature front and rear rack plus fender compatibility making the Bend your true do-it-all bike; right at home racing gravel through to touring or your daily commute.


    The lungs and heart of this bike are the Shimano Sora RD-R3000, a 2 x 9 reliable and versatile drivetrain that will carry you through your journey. The Tektro C400 Mechanical Disc Brakes will keep you safe and in control, no matter the descent.


    While still offering compatibility with 700C wheels with up to 40mm tyres, the Bend has now evolved to a whole new level of suppleness, sporting 650Bx47 WTB Venture Road Plus rubber. 650B wheels feature a smaller diameter rim than a 700C (or 29er) which saves weight in the wheels, while allowing for a larger volume tyre which enhances comfort on rougher surfaces.


    Additionally, 650B Road Plus tyres increase traction due to their wider contact patch with the ground resulting in more controlled cornering and braking, plus more grip when clambering up steep pinches. The 700C compatibility opens up your options to simply switch to a spare wheelset for a more dedicated road set up. The possibility to fit such plush tyres into a drop bar bikes has come about thanks to road disc brakes which also enhance all-weather braking control and safety.
