    The Polygon Heist X7 is one the most popular hybrid bikes and has been used by thousands of riders around the world ranging from weekend rides around the local fire trails to long-distance touring. Now, in its 6th generation, the Polygon Heist X7. continues to embrace its adventurous spirit heritage with a series of improvements designed to help you explore the outdoors on two wheels.


    This new version now comes equipped with semi-knobby tires and an improved front suspension fork boosting its light off-road credibility and improving rider comfort. The Suntour NCX air fork is a trekking-specific suspension fork. The travel is kept to an optimum of 63mm, and the lowers are made from magnesium all engineered to keep the fork weight to a minimum. With the addition of a lockout lever, you will maintain efficiency while riding on paved roads or during steep ascents. The new WTB Riddler 700 x 45c tires are ideal for riders who are looking for a commuting bike on weekdays but also want to extend their riding terrain to rail trails, hard pack dirt roads, or even on local bush fire roads.


    The drivetrain has been updated to the latest Shimano SLX series, which now is fully optimized for touring and commuting bikes; giving you ample range for any situation you might, or might not, have planned for. Hailed as Shimano's best value performance groupset, Shimano SLX provides a superb blend of durability, performance and also helps to keep the bike weight down when the hill points up.


    To keep things in control, the Heist X7 comes equipped with Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes, delivering unprecedented stopping power and modulation on a bike at this price point. Hydraulic disc brakes are an amazing upgrade to have on any bike as it removes the need to pull hard on the brake levers to achieve the desired braking power. Maximum power is easily controlled with minimal input at the levers – allowing you to focus on the road ahead rather than worrying about whether you are going to stop in time or potentially lock up the wheels.


    Finishing off the Polygon Heist X7 is a suite of quality and lightweight Entity alloy bars, stem, and seat post. The wheels are double-wall alloy rims that provide added strength and durability. The gear cables now run inside the frame for a clean look and pedals are included with the bike.
